About Chivas Brothers
CHIVAS BROTHERS IS THE SCOTCH WHISKY BUSINESS OF PERNOD RICARD

Our award-winning portfolio features some of the world’s most revered Scotch whisky brands including Chivas Regal, the world’s first luxury whisky and No. 1 Scotch whisky in China; Ballantine’s, Europe’s No. 1 Scotch whisky; The Glenlivet, the single malt whisky that set the standards for Speyside malts; and Royal Salute, the world’s only exclusively prestige whisky range.

We are a leading employer, headquartered in Scotland, with more than 1600 colleagues across 29 sites from Orkney to Plymouth, covering 13 malt distilleries, a grain distillery, two gin distilleries, two bottling facilities and 300 bonded warehouses containing an extensive aged inventory of more than six million casks.

As at 1 April 2020, Chivas Brothers has adopted the common practice of making the marketing and operational sides of its business more independent from a governance and administration point of view.

This set-up involves the creation of a new globally-focused business called Chivas Brothers International Limited. This new entity is responsible for the creation and exportation of brands, while the existing Chivas Brothers Limited will focus on the production and manufacture of products.

The two entities sit in parallel with one another and shape the common name of Chivas Brothers, which acknowledges the continuation of a shared culture and ongoing collaboration.
